| No ordinary staff room |
| uvarchitects have recently finished their first education project. The staff room for Surrey Square Junior School in Walworth, Southwark was finished on time for the new school year. After a concerted marketing effort to break into the education sector we have established good relationships with a number of schools in London and are currently working on eight large redevelopment schemes.The staffroom has been well received by the staff as a departure from the norm. Mick Haley of uvarchitects comments “we were very conscious that this staff room should be an oasis of calm, for this we softened the institutional feel that most staff rooms have by using classic, high quality materials and finishes to produce a hardwearing and timeless solution”
